Dungeon Duty
Protect your dungeon's bottom line from adventurers looking to make a name for themselves. Hire, fire, and promote dungeon monsters to create the perfect dungeon defense to send these so-called "heroes" running.
Controls
- Left Click
- Left & Right Arrows -or- A & D: Move tiles
- Down Arrow -or- S: Drop tiles
Gameplay Tips:
- Combat happens after dropping X tiles. The dungeon deals damage based on the placed monsters when combat starts:
Deals 1 damage
Deals 0 damage
Deals 1 damage per slime absorbed
- When adventurers attack, they destroy a number of random units based on their attack power. Deplete the heroes' health to scare them off.
Dungeon Overflow!
- Careful when placing monsters! Overflowing dungeons have been known to collapse.
- Overflows reset the turn count and clear the board, but this also gives adventurers time to call more allies.

DFuxa Reviews 7DRL 2024 - Dungeon Duty
Wow this was a lot of fun!
However, it took me awhile to figure out what was going on, and I was completely confused until my 3rdish play.
Some hopefully helpful tips: The board is your “army” of units fighting the “heroes” who are listed on the right.
At the end of the turn where the attack timer ticks to 0, you will take whatever damage is listed in number of units.
If you lose all your units at that point, you’ve lost the game.
If you overflow your board is wiped, your attack timer is reset, and the enemy’s damage is increased.
Once I understood these mechanics the game was super fun, and I made it to (but did not defeat) the last boss :D
Great work!
